Molloy University Named Safest Campus In New York

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Molloy University is the safest college campus in the state. That's according to the 2024 list compiled by Niche.com.

The Rockville Centre school was also named number nine nationally.

"We are proud to have achieved this designation yet again," said James P. Lentini, President of Molloy University. “Every student should feel safe at their school and every parent who sends a child to college is entitled to that same sense of calm."

It's the second year in a row that Molloy is part of the Safest College Campuses list.

Niche.com gives Molloy an overall grade of B+ and a top-rated A+ for safety.

"To be acknowledged for our efforts to keep our students safe is recognition of that hard work by our entire campus community, primarily our Public Safety team,” Lentini added.

The Safest College Campuses ranking is based on key statistics and student reviews using data from the U.S. Department of Education.
