Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. Our goal driven and technique oriented approach is the key to your child's success. Through skill based quality teaching our students develop a joy for learning and a passion for swimming. At Long Island Swim School, we teach children to swim the same way the best in the world do. Two employees were arrested for unauthorized practice at an Oceanside Acupuncturist Friday afternoon, one of whom was also charged with prostitution. According to Nassau County detectives, an undercover operation determined that Hua Yang, 51, and Zhenyun He, 59, both of Flushing, were practicing massage therapy without a license while working at Acupuncture, located at 433 Merrick Road. Police said Yang also offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money. Both defendants were taken into custody around 3:50 p.m. without incident. The defendants were charged with unauthorized practice of a crime.  Additionally, Yang was charged with prostitution. They will be arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
