Christian Rodriguez was arrested by ICE agents on Aug. 21, the Department of Homeland Security says.
OCEANSIDE, NY — A spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security has responded to the arrest last week of Christian Rodriguez, a manager of a McDonald's in Oceanside, by ICE agents.
“Christian Emmanuel Rodriguez Torrealba, a criminal illegal alien from Venezuela, entered the U.S. on a B-2 tourist visa that required him to leave the U.S. by June 3, 2016," the spokesperson said in a statement to Patch. "Nearly 10 years later, he is still illegally in the U.S. Rodriguez’s criminal history includes convictions for battery and property damage crimes. ICE arrested this illegal alien on August 21, 2025."
Rodriguez, who lives in Baldwin, has been working at the fast food restaurant since 2020, Newsday said. The outlet also said he has a valid Social Security number and a work visa.
