Pedestrian, 80, Dies From Injuries Sustained In Nassau Crash: Police

OCEANSIDE, NY — A man has succumbed to his injuries from a crash last week in Oceanside, police said.

Roosevelt Williams, 80, of Baldwin, died early Sunday, police said.

Williams had been hospitalized in critical condition since when he was struck by a 2019 Porsche SUV while walking on Lower Lincoln Avenue on Thursday night, police said.

The 29-year-old female driver remained at the scene, police said.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are investigating.
