PSEGLI Preps For Potential Outages From Heavy Rain, Gusty Winds
The utility company says they will have a full complement of personnel to handle the weather conditions.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Heavy rain and gusty winds are in the forecast again for Long Island and that means outages are possible.
PSEG Long Island is doing its part to prepare for whatever Mother Nature dishes out Thursday night into Friday morning.
"We have performed system and logistic checks, and have a full complement of personnel who will mobilize for restoration in foul weather conditions," Michael Sullivan, vice president of Electric Operations at PSEG Long Island, said.

With the potential for winds over 50 miles per hour, trees could topple and branches could down on wires.
Customers should always consider downed wires as "live" and stay as far away as possible and not drive over them.
