Rockville Centre Collection Drive To Support LA Wildfire Victims

Clothing, food and toiletry are being accepted at Sunday's call to action.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A collection drive is taking place on Sunday to support those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.

The food, clothing and toiletry drive is happening at the Associated Supermarket in Rockville Centre.

"As you make your final preparations ahead of Sunday’s big game, I encourage you to take a moment to think about the tremendous hardships that first responders in California are continuing to endure in the aftermath of this unprecedented natural disaster," Nassau Legislator Scott Davis said.

All donations will go toward military families and first responders who were affected by the wildfires.

Items sought include non-perishable food, adult and children's clothing and baby formula.

The collection drive will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Associated is located at 160 North Long Beach Rd.
