Rockville Centre Girls' Softball Advances To Sectional Final
A Wednesday win sends RVC to the state championships next week.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A softball team from Rockville Centre is poised to advance to the state round at the Little League World Series.
The RVC 14U (under 14) girls' squad plays Wednesday night against Floral Park for the New York Sectional Title. The game takes place at the RVC Athletic Complex.
A win sends the Rockville Centre youngsters to the state tournament next week in Rockland County. The ultimate goal is reaching the Junior League Softball World Series, which runs from July 30-Aug. 5 in Kirkland, Washington.
