ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The annual Rockville Centre Veterans Day Ceremony takes place on Nov. 11.
The rain-or-shine event is scheduled for the village's recreation center on 11 North Oceanside Rd.
It's organized by the American Legion Post 303.

The Veterans Day ceremony begins at 11 a.m. as they honor veterans, gold star families and first responders.
Most village offices will observe the holiday and reopen on Monday, Nov. 13. There will be garbage pickup on Nov. 10.
