RVC Girls Soccer Team Meets U.S. Women’s National Team

On Tuesday, July 19 the RVC Express girls were invited to attend Good Morning America where they had the opportunity to meet the entire U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team. The girls spoke with the U.S. players, shook hands, took pictures and got autographs from each team member.             

The highlight of the morning was when Team USA superstar Abby Wambach came back to speak to the girls before she left. She told them, “You might not win every game you play, but it doesn’t matter. What matters in life is how you deal with it and what you learn from it.”

She told them to keep playing and loving the game. Coaches of the Express are Tom McNicholas and Amy Sherlock. Team is trained by Tim Bradbury.
