LI's Crystal Dunn Begins Quest For USA's 3rd Straight World Cup
Dunn is a graduate of South Side High School.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Women's World Cup Tournament begins Friday and Team USA's "elder statesman," Rockville Centre native Crystal Dunn is seeking another title.
Dunn, who graduated from South Side High School, helped the team win in 2019. She was among the final cuts to the 2015 squad.
Dunn, 31, has advice for the 14 teammates in their first World Cup.

“I hope they enjoy the moment and enjoy the journey because it’s so special," she told Newsday.
USA opens with Vietnam in New Zealand on Friday. They are trying to become the first team, men or women, to string together three straight World Cup championships.
