Santos Granted Permission To Take Summer Trips To Poconos
The ex-congressman facing multiple federal fraud counts.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — George Santos will be allowed to spend time this summer in the Poconos, the Associated Press reported.
A judge granted the former congressman, who faces federal fraud charges, his request to take trips to the mountainous Pennsylvania vacation spot.
Santos is allowed to travel within New York City, Long Island and Washington, D.C., as well as other trips if he gives advance notice, the A.P. said.

An attorney for Santos last week told the judge requested weekly trips to Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, in the Mt. Pocono area, the report said.
Santos had gotten cleared to visit the Poconos but wanted to make weekly trips during the summer, the Associated Press said.
