Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — George Santos will be allowed to spend time this summer in the Poconos, the Associated Press reported. A judge granted the former congressman, who faces <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/glencove/santos-arraignment-next-week-new-superseding-indictment-us-atty">federal fraud charges</a>, his request to take trips to the mountainous Pennsylvania vacation spot. Santos is allowed to travel within New York City, Long Island and Washington, D.C., as well as other trips if he gives advance notice, the A.P. said. An attorney for Santos last week told the judge requested weekly trips to Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, in the Mt. Pocono area, the report said. Santos had gotten cleared to visit the Poconos but wanted to make weekly trips during the summer, the Associated Press said.
