Three Weeks in a Row, Hess Has Cheapest Gas in RVC

Are you heading out on a weekend getaway tomorrow? Or trying to find a way to cut down on  traveling expenses? Here's a guide on where to find those inexpensive pumps around the village, so you can save a few bucks on gas.

The gas prices listed below were compiled today, Sept. 2.

According to motortrend.com, the Hess at 580 Sunrise Highway sells the lowest priced regular, plus, premium and diesel gas in the village. It is the third week in a row that Hess has offered the lowest non-diesel gas in the village, but a first for it having the lowest priced diesel fuel. Hess sells its regular gas at $2.65 a gallon and its plus at $2.95. Premium gas at Hess is priced at $3.01 per gallon, while its diesel fuel sells at $3.05.

If you don't mind traveling a little farther to fill up your tank, the Gulf at 2962 Long Beach Road in Oceanside has plus gas for $2.89.

In contrast, the highest priced regular gas can be found at the Citgo gas station at 128 North Village Ave., which sells it at $3.09 a gallon. The highest priced premium gas is sold at the Gulf station at 2 Sunrise Highway, which has it priced at $3.25 a gallon.
