Want A Summer Concert? Choices From Alison Krauss To Zac Brown Band

LONG ISLAND, NY — For the first time in more than two years, New Yorkers are ready to enjoy the summer as we are hoping the COVID-19 pandemic is finally in the rear-view mirror.

One way to "celebrate" is by heading to a concert.

There are plenty to choose from.

On Long Island-- Jones Beach has a full schedule of shows, including:

• Classic rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd on June 4.
• Country musicians Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town on June 9.
• The Doobie Brothers on June 21
• Chris Rock and Kevin Hart on July 21.

Heading to the west, at Forest Hills Stadium:

• Robert Plant and Alison Krauss headline on June 4.
• The Lumineers play the tennis court-turned-stage on June 17 and 18.
• Multiple Grammy-winning artist Norah Jones performs on August 4.
• Comic/actor Bill Burr hits the stage on Aug. 10.

The Weeknd is headlining MetLife Stadium on July 16.

Matchbox Twenty will be at St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater in Syracuse on July 30.

Metallica will perform at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Aug. 11.

The Damned and Blondie will perform at Pier 17 in lower Manhattan on Aug. 18.

Zac Brown Band is at Citi Field on Aug. 18.
