Another Farmingville Bank Robbed
BREAKING: It's the second Farmingville bank to be robbed in as many days.
FARMINGVILLE, NY – For the second day in a row, a Farmingville bank has been robbed, police said Monday.
According to Suffolk Police, a man entered Sterling National Bank at 696 Horseblock Road at 10:08 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demand and gave him cash from the drawer, police said. The man fled the bank on foot.
The suspect robber was about 5-foot-10, 200 pounds and had a mustache, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Major Case at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
On Sunday morning, the People's United Bank inside Stop & Shop at 2350 North Ocean Ave. in Farmingville was robbed.
