Boy, 16, Stabs Another Teen At Holbrook Chamber Of Commerce Fair: Police

The 15-year-old boy was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, cops say.

HOLBROOK, NY — A 16-year-old boy stabbed another 15-year-old boy at the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce's Fair on Saturday, Suffolk police said.

The stabbing took place at the Holbrook Country Club on Patchogue/Holbrook Road in Holbrook at around 10:35 p.m., according to police.

It's not clear what precipitated the stabbing.

There was a report made by a boy who said he was punched by another at the fair at 9:30 p.m., but no one has been arrested in that incident.

The 15-year-old was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The 16-year-old was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and was arraigned on Sunday.
