Help For Those With Cognitive Impairments
The Sheriff’s office will also be available to discuss and answer questions about Project Lifesaver, a rapid-response program that aids people, who wander as a result of cognitive impairments or other afflictions.
The program combines technology and specially trained deputies to locate individuals who have wandered with clients wearing a “watch-type” wristband transmitter, which is worn on the wrist, ankle, or as a necklace, which emits a tracking signal.
