Chase Bank In Suffolk Robbed: Cops

The man implied he had a weapon and passed a note to the teller at around 3:30 p.m., Suffolk police said.

SELDEN, NY — A Chase Bank in Selden was robbed Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A man went inside the bank on Middle Country Road at around 3:30 p.m., and verbally implied to an employee that he had a weapon and handed the teller a note demanding cash, according to police.

The teller complied and the suspect fled, police said.

Major Case Unit detectives are investigating.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hotline, at 1-800-220-TIPS.
