Chippewa Elementary School Unveils New Book Room

Chippewa Elementary School in the Sachem Central School District has officially opened its brand-new book room. The book room is a place for teachers to access books and resources for their classroom. Some of the books are geared toward small group instruction including in-class book clubs, while others are intended for guided reading.

Principal Michael Saidens spoke with staff at the unveiling, thanking the many teachers who dedicated time to unpack books and organize the space.
