Drama Students to Perform with Memphis Cast

The hits keep coming for Sachem North’s drama club.

They have an opportunity to rub elbows with over 60 Broadway stars on Monday, August 22, when they perform with the cast of the Broadway smash hit Memphis.

“We are so excited about this,” said drama advisor Jonathan Chiaramonte.

He said the cast from Memphis selected the Sachem kids out of many workshops that they've seen. Through his connections, the students have received considerable recognition the last couple of years.

During the spring, Chiaramonte appeared on . A month later, drama students from Sachem were honored with from the Town of Brookhaven.
