Dress For Success Brookhaven’s Annual Gala Set For Sept. 28
Capital One will be honored the prestigious Impact Award; the program has helped change the lives of more than 6,500 women since 1999.

On September 28, 2022, Dress for Success Brookhaven will celebrate 23 years of empowering women in our community at their annual gala to be held at Land’s End in Sayville. Each year hundreds of women come through our doors – women who have lost their jobs, survived abuse, or simply faced challenges that have held them back. Dress for Success Brookhaven gives these women hope and a second chance to succeed both professionally and personally. By providing the tools and resources needed to find a job and keep it, we are empowering women to create a brighter future and inspiring them to follow their dreams.

We cannot offer these life changing services without your support! Please join us for an evening of celebration at our annual gala. There are many opportunities for getting involved with our gala; whether you donate an auction item, come on board as an event sponsor or purchase tickets to attend the event, your contribution will directly support the programs that Dress for Success provides to women across Long Island.
Dress for Success is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the developmental tools to help thrive in work and in life. Established in 1999 with the support of the Town of Brookhaven, the Division of Women’s Services and more than 50 volunteers, Dress for Success Brookhaven has been instrumental in helping more than 6,500 women achieve their goal of becoming self-sufficient and economically independent. The 2022 Distinguished Honorees include:
- Impact Award to Capital One
- Humanitarian Award to President Larry Unger, The National Mah-Jongg League
- Corporate Citizens Award to Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition
The proceeds from Dress for Success Brookhaven’s Gala will directly support programs for women in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
