Methamphetamine, ketamine, and cocaine were confiscated, along with about $40,000 after a burglary investigation, Suffolk police said.

RONKONKOMA, NY — A Levittown man who owns a lab in Ronkonkoma was busted for using it to manufacture methamphetamine after he reported a burglary there early Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.

The lab's owner, Matthew Leshinsky, called to report that he heard glass break at Quantitative Laboratories on Pond Road at around 3:30 a.m., and when officers from the 5th Precinct and the department's K-9 Unit searched the premises they discovered "equipment and chemicals consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine," according to police.

Significant quantities of solid and liquid methamphetamine, ketamine, and cocaine were confiscated from the lab, along with about $40,000 in cash, police said.
