Dunkin' Renovates Ronkonkoma Store; Grand Reopening Announced

RONKONKOMA, NY — Dunkin' is set to reopen in Ronkonkoma on Thursday, introducing a next-generation store to the community, according to a news release.

The cafe is at 90 Railroad Avenue at the Ronkonkoma Station Plaza. The store had been closed for approximately a month during renovations, a spokesperson told Patch.

To celebrate the grand reopening, Dunkin’ is offering free coffee for a year beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday to the first 100 guests in line at revamped location. Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway recipients receive a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, good only at the Ronkonkoma Station Dunkin’ at 90 Railroad Avenue.

Additionally, all guests will be able to spin a prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., while supplies last, according to Dunkin'.

Dunkin’ franchisee Uri Back of FKB Donuts, Inc. is set to commemorate the occasion with a $3,000 donation to The Lighthouse Mission, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The Lighthouse Mission has been providing food, clothing and hope to struggling Long Island families since 1992. The Lighthouse Mission exists to feed the hungry and help the homeless by sharing God's love with people in need in practical ways.

A check presentation and grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m.

The 1,250-square-foot Dunkin’ employs 16 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m.

The Ronkonkoma Station Dunkin’ features the brand’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:

• Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now available through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
