Duo Arrested After Sex Trafficking Bust at LI Motel
BREAKING: Police say 12-year-old and 17-year-old girls were being held against their will. One of them had been raped for years.

RONKONKOMA, NY – Two men was arrested on sex trafficking charges after police responded to a Long Island motel early Tuesday.
According to Suffolk Police, Fifth Precinct officers responded to Rodeway Inn Macarthur Airport, located at 3055 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 2:27 a.m. after a woman called 911 to report her former foster daughter, 12, and another girl, 17, were being held by two men at the location against their will.
When officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Fredjy Exavier attempting to leave the location with the two girls, knowing that the 12-year-old had made a phone call to her former foster mother about the situation, police said.

Police located 22-year-old Terron Newsome in a room at the motel. Further investigation revealed that Exavier and Newsome had picked up the girls from the group home where they live and drove them to the motel where Newsome attempted to have the 12-year-old girl engage in sexual activities with him and encouraged her to become a prostitute, police said.
Detectives also determined that the 17-year-old girl has been working as a prostitute for Newsome since she was 13 and had been raped by Newsome during that time, police said.

Newsome, of Central Islip, who police say is self-described Crips gang member, was charged with second degree kidnapping, second degree rape, sex trafficking and endangering the welfare of a child.
Exavier, of Central Islip, was charged with second degree kidnapping and sex rafficking.
Both men were due to arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
