Update: Firefighter Injured Battling Lake Ronkonkoma House Fire
Five fire departments battled the blaze Tuesday afternoon.

RONKONKOMA, NY – A firefighter was injured while battling a raging house fire in Lake Ronkonkoma Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out at 19 Dougbeth Ave., just south of Long Island Expressway, at about 1:20 p.m. A Ronkonkoma Fire Department firefighter was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Suffolk Police said. No other injuries were reported.
The Lakeland, Holtsville, Farmingville and Holbrook fire departments also responded to the scene.

Arson Squad detectives believe the fire started in the kitchen and is accidental in nature.
