Search On For Vehicle In Fatal Long Island Hit-And-Run: Cops
The driver of the car got out briefly before bolting on Dec 1, Suffolk police say.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Suffolk detectives, who say they are looking for the driver of a gray Honda Accord in connection with the hit-and-run death of a man in Farmingville earlier this month, released video on Friday.
Alberto Perea Vazquez was crossing Horseblock Road, near Raymond Avenue, on Dec. 11 at around 6 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound vehicle, police said. The driver of the vehicle stopped momentarily, got out of his vehicle, and then bolted from the scene in the vehicle, police said, adding that Vazquez was then struck by another vehicle and the driver of that vehicle stayed at the scene.
Detectives believe the vehicle that fled is a gray 2003 to 2007 four-door Honda Accord and it has a missing passenger side mirror, police said.
