Man Robs Farmingville Bank
Police say a man robbed a bank inside a supermarket Sunday morning.
FARMINGVILLE, NY – A man robbed a Farmingville bank Sunday morning.
According to Suffolk Police, the man entered People’s United Bank, inside Stop & Shop, at 2350 North Ocean Ave., at 11:36 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash.
The teller complied with the man’s demand and gave him cash from the drawer. The man fled the store on foot toward Horseblock Road.

The robber was described as Hispanic, approximately 40 years old, around 5-foot-8, with a stocky build. He was wearing a blue ski jacket and a blue/gray ski hat.
