Motorcyclist Struck By Sedan, Seriously Hurt On Long Island: Police
He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of his injuries, police say.
CENTEREACH, NY — A motorcyclist was struck by a sedan and seriously injured in Centereach on Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.
Christopher Borrero was driving a Nissan Sentra southbound on Ronkonkoma Boulevard when he tried to make a left turn onto Middle Country Road and collided with a motorcycle
traveling westbound on Middle Country Road at around 10:25 a.m., according to police.
The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man from Selden, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of his injuries, police said, adding that the driver, a 32-year-old man from Medford, was not injured.

The motorcycle and Nissan were impounded for a safety check, police said.
Detectives from the 6th Squad in Selden are investigating, according to police.
