Pedestrian Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Holbrook
It happened Friday evening, police say.

HOLBROOK, NY – A man was struck by a hit-and-run driver as he stood by his car in Holbrook Friday evening, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, a man was standing by the driver's side of his car parked on Coates Avenue near South Roberts Street when a vehicle struck him around 6 p.m.
The man, who police did not name, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
