Police: Farmingville Woman Found in NYC

Sara Respol, a Farmingville resident, has ben found in New York City and unharmed after Suffolk Police issued a Silver Alert for her, police said.

Respol, 74, who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s, was last seen on foot leaving the Pan American Hotel, located at 79-00 Queens Blvd., Elmhurst, on the morning of July 7, according to police.

Police described her as a white female, with blue eyes, short blonde hair, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sandals, long black shorts and a striped tank top. She also wears reading glasses.
