Police: Woman in Possession of Heroin with 2-Month-Old in Holbrook Parking Lot
Officers were able to stop woman before she injected herself with drug.

A Shirley woman was arrested in Holbrook Thursday after she was found to be in possession of heroin with her two-month-old child in the backseat of her vehicle, according to police.
Suffolk County Police Officers were preparing to set up surveillance in the parking lot of Toys-R-Us, located at 5801 Sunrise Highway, when they observed Crystal Webberly, 29, in a parked 2004 Hyundai tie a strap around her left arm at 1:20 p.m., police said.
As the officers approached the vehicle they observed Webberly to be in possession of a hypodermic needle preparing to inject herself with heroin while her two-month-old son was in a child seat in the rear of the vehicle, according to police.

Officers were able to stop Webberly from injecting the heroin and recovered the needle.
She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Police said a passenger in Webberly’s vehicle, Jacqueline Dattilo, 26, was charged with loitering, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
A notification to Child Protective Services was made and the child was released into the custody of his grandmother.
Both will be held overnight and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 21.
