Sachem East Girls Tennis: Sachem 5, Connetquot 2 ... The Sachem East girl's tennis team improved their League VI record to 6-2 by defeating Comsewogue, 5-2. On Senior Day at the courts, seniors Rebecca Stein, and Briana Levine continued their winning ways by defeating their opponents at first and second singles, respectively. Jenna Scarola beat her opponent at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-0. Sachem's second doubles of senior Jenny Nussbaum and junior Victoria Coffaro won easily, 6-1, 6-1. Senior Alyssa Julien and junior Charlee Timmermann won in similar fashion, 6-1, 6-1. Their next match is home Tuesday against Connetquot.
