Sachem School Budget: What You Need To Know

Voters will decide on a $364 million spending plan, as well as a $7 million proposal to reconstruct baseball fields at the high schools.

SACHEM, NY — The Sachem Central School District voters will cast their ballots on a $364 million spending plan on Tuesday.

The proposed budget-to-budget change is $13,862,246 or a 3.96 percent change.

Voters will also decide on Proposition Two, which proposes to use about $7 million in Capital Reserve money to reconstruct the baseball fields at Sachem East and Sachem North high schools, respectively.

Voters will also cast their ballots to elect three board members for three-year terms.

The candidates who garner the top two votes will be elected to the board.

Write-in candidates can also be proposed for any vacancy.

The vote will take place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Voting will take place at all district elementary schools.
