Suspect Punched Clerk, Swiped Tide PODs At Suffolk Stop & Shop: PD
He threatened stabbing the man before making off with around $225 worth of PODs, Suffolk police said.

HOLBROOK, NY - A man punched a Stop and Shop clerk and threatened to stab him before making off with around $225 worth of Tide PODs back in October, Suffolk police said Thursday.
A man passed all points of sale at Stop and Shop on Sunrise Highway, with the PODS on Oct. 29 at around 9 p.m., police said, adding that an employee confronted him in the parking lot, and then he punched the employee and threatened to stab him.
The suspect, who was described as around 6 feet 4 inches tall, and between 25 and 35 years old, fled in a four-door sedan with an orange license plate.

The crime has been classified robbery, according to an alert from police.
