Suspect Swiped 2 iPhones Worth About $1.8K From Long Island Porch: Police

RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect they say stole a package with two iPhones worth around $1,800 from the porch of a Ronkonkoma home last month.
A man stole the package from the porch of a home on Springdale Drive on Oct. 9 at around 6 p.m., police said, adding that the man sped away in a newer model Silver Honda Accord.
In images from security video, the man can be seen wearing dark-colored clothing, as well as a baseball cap.

The crime has been classified as grand larceny, according to a police news release.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
