Suspect Used Stolen Credit Cards At Walmart In Suffolk: Police

The cards were stolen earlier in the day from Whole Foods in Lake Grove, Suffolk police said.

CENTEREACH, NY — A woman used stolen credit cards at Walmart in Centereach in March, Suffolk police said Friday.

The woman used the stolen credit cards at the chain store's Centereach Mall location on Middle Country Road on March 8 just after 2 p.m., according to police. The credit cards were in a purse, which was stolen from a shopping cart at Whole Foods Market on New Moriches Road in Lake Grove, earlier in the day, police said.

In surveillance video, the suspect can be seen wearing a dark-colored coat and a fishing hat.

Detectives have classified the crime grand larceny, according to the crime alert issued by police.
