Trombetta Helps Yellow Jackets Win U-15 Title

LI club team wins second straight crown; East sophomore grabs all-tourney honors.

helped the Yellow Jackets club lacrosse team win their second straight U.S. Lacrosse Girls’ Under-15 National Championship last weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

Trombetta, entering her sophomore year at Sachem High School East, was named to the all-tournament team as the Yellow Jackets beat Stars Gold (Va.), 10-3, in the final.

The Yellow Jackets is New York’s premier girls lacrosse club program, primarily comprised of talent from Long Island.
