Woman Arrested During Massage Parlor Raid In Ronkonkoma: Police

RONKONKOMA, NY — A woman was arrested on charges of unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution during a massage parlor raid in Ronkonkoma on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.

Crime Section officers and detectives from the 4th Precinct in Smithtown, along with the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal 's office and the Law Department, conducted an investigation into Fort Haven Spa on Hawkins Avenue after community complaints, according to police.

The 50-year-old Flushing woman was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First DistrictCourt in Central Islip on a later date, police said.

The town of issued multiple summonses to the business, according to the police.
