Woman Seriously Injured in Ronkonkoma Crash
Police said driver crashed heading northbound on Rosevale Avenue.

Suffolk Police is investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a woman in Ronkonkoma Thursday afternoon.
Jessica Jagodzinski, 29, was driving her 2006 Dodge Durango northbound on Rosevale Avenue, when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the back of a parked oil truck which had just completed an oil delivery on Ocean Avenue, police said.
According to police, Jagodzinski’s boyfriend, Luis Mejias, 39, who was following Jagodzinski in his 2009 Toyota Camry, then crashed into the Durango at 4:18 p.m.

Police said Jagodzinski was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the oil truck, Anthony Venditto, 43, and Mejias were also transported to Stony Brook with non-life threatening injuries.

The Durango and Toyota were impounded for safety checks. A safety check of the oil truck was conducted by the Motor Carrier Safety Section at the scene.
Detectives are asking with information about this crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
