Police ID Woman Struck, Killed By Vehicle That Fled In Suffolk County
UPDATE: Police say they were notified that a body on the grass on the side of North Ocean Avenue at around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.
HOLTSVILLE, NY — A 42-year-old Bay Shore woman was struck and left for dead in Holtsville on Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.
Officers were called about a body on the grass on the side of North Ocean Avenue, just north of Fish Road at around 7:45 a.m., according to police.
Jennifer Bianco was pronounced dead at the scene and it was determined she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, police said.

Investigators do not have a time of occurrence, only the time the crash was reported, according to police.
The investigation by Major Case Unit detectives is continuing.
