$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in New York
A cool million for a New Yorker, but no one hit the jackpot so it's up to $750 million for Saturday night's drawing.
A person who bought a Powerball ticket in New York was just a number away from winning a $620 million Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night, but he or she will still take home a cool $1 million (that is before Uncle Sam gets his cut).
The $1 million ticket was sold at Stewart's Shops in East Greenbush, just outside Albany. No one hit the jackpot, though, so it's up to $750 million for Saturday night's drawing.
The winning numbers for Tuesday's drawing were: 3-21-45-53-56 and Powerball No. 22.
