13 Sayville High School Athletes Commit To Play College Sports In 2026
The seniors were honored during a National Signing Day ceremony.

SAYVILLE, NY — Sayville Public Schools celebrated 13 senior student-athletes on Wednesday as they officially committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
The National Signing Day ceremony, held Nov. 12, brought together families, coaches, district leaders, and teammates to recognize the seniors’ years of dedication, training, and academic focus.

- Meghan Brady – Women’s Swimming & Diving, Northeastern University
- Sophia Buffardi – Women’s Lacrosse, University of North Carolina
- Carly Cangelosi – Women’s Lacrosse, Rutgers University
- Sean Casey – Men’s Lacrosse, Manhattan College
- Delilah Cummings – Softball, College of Charleston
- Olivia DeSimone – Women’s Lacrosse, Florida State University
- Morgan Farrell – Women’s Lacrosse, Johns Hopkins University
- Kyla Kastner – Women’s Soccer, Millersville University
- Julia Lilienthal – Women’s Lacrosse, Vanderbilt University
- Paige Manning – Women’s Lacrosse, Quinnipiac University

- Jenna Messina – Women’s Lacrosse, Coastal Carolina University
- Julianna Montalto – Women’s Lacrosse, Arizona State University
Superintendent Dr. Marc Ferris, Director of Physical Education, Health and Interscholastic Athletics Dr. Ryan Cox, Board Trustee Kathy VanDorn, and Board Trustee Christopher Robertson attended the celebration.
“Our National Signing Day Ceremony allows us to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our outstanding student-athletes,” Dr. Cox said. “Their accomplishments reflect the strength of our athletic programs and the support of our Sayville community.”
