5 People Arrested After Burglarizing Bayport Smoke Shop: Police
Four young adults and a 17-year-old broke into a Bayport smoke shop on Sunday and stole money and vape products, Suffolk police say.
BAYPORT, NY — Five people have been arrested for burglarizing a Bayport smoke shop early Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.
Jordan Rivera, 18, and Christian Evans, 21, both of Brentwood, Keyshawn Grenville, 18, and Dominick Lopez, 19, both of Central Islip and a 17-year-old West Islip male, broke the window of Moe’s Sweet Air on Bernice Drive in Bayport on May 5 at around 4:30 a.m. where they stole money and vape products, police said.
Police said all five were charged with third-degree burglary.

According to police, Evans and Rivera were also charged with an additional count of third-degree burglary for burglarizing The Sandal Pawn Shop on Islip Avenue in Brentwood less than an hour before breaking into the smoke shop. They broke a glass door and stole gaming systems, cell phones and watches, police said.
Rivera, Evans, Grenville, and Lopez will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday. The 17-year-old will be arraigned at a later date.
