Air Fryer Catches Fire In Two-Family Home In Sayville
No one was injured in a house fire caused by an air fryer.

An air fryer caught fire in a two-family home on Railroad Avenue in Sayville on Monday night, but the residents were able to extinguish it before it caused extensive damage.
The Sayville Fire Department responded to the home to find a melted air fryer on top of a stove at around 11: 25 p.m. Monday night.
"The quick detection of the fire by the resident and their subsequent actions to extinguish the fire and immediately call the fire department certainly prevented a much more serious incident," the department said on Facebook. "The Town Of Islip Fire Marshals office responded for the fire investigation."
