BLUE POINT, NY —The Bayport-Blue Point PTA and PTSA have announced this year’s winners of the PTA Reflections, a program that garners over 300,000 student submissions of original works of art for a student-created theme each year.

The program, which is more than 50 years old, helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life, the district said.

For the 2024-2025 school year, the theme was "Accepting Imperfection," a concept created by Paige Opaska from San Antonio, Texas, who won the 2022 Reflections Theme Search Contest.
