Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick's Day Parade Postponed

Nasty weather in the forecast this weekend has postponed the big parade.

With rain in the forecast for this Sunday, the Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick's Day Parade has been postponed until Sunday, March 24 at 11 a.m.

The Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick's Day Parade will kick off on Sunday at Henrietta Acampora Cottage at 10 a.m.

The parade, set up by the Great South Bay Coalition, will be alcohol and nicotine and is sponsored by Councilman Neil Foley.

Lenore Ringer Prezioso is the parade's grand marshal.

There will be hot chocolate, face painting, themed giveaways and a paper-chain rainbow/pot of gold craft.

Henrietta Acampora Cottage is located at 39 Montauk Hwy. in Blue Point
