BAYPORT—BLUE POINT, NY — A sixth-grader in the Bayport-Blue Point School District is reminding the world to give peace a chance.

James Wilson Young Middle School student Lillian O. won the 2024-2025 Brookhaven Great South Bay Lions Club Peace Poster Contest, the district announced on Friday.

The district called Lillian's poster "inspiring artwork," which was created as part of this year's contest theme, Peace Without Limits. Her work was selected as the top poster by local Lions Club judges.
