Driver Hits And Injures Cyclist In Sayville: PD

A cyclist was injured after being struck by a 2000 Toyota in Sayville on Saturday, according to police.

SAYVILLE, NY – A cyclist was injured after being hit by the driver of a 2000 Toyota in Sayville on Saturday, police said.

The cyclist suffered "minor injuries," police said.

According to police, the driver was making a right-hand turn from Montauk Highway onto Greeley Avenue when the vehicle struck the cyclist at around 4:15 p.m.

The cyclist was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of a minor injury, police said.
