Lt. Michael Murphy Navy Seal Museum Football Fundraiser
Army vs. Navy football watch-party fundraiser.

The Lt. Michael Murphy Navy Seal Museum is hosting a watch-party fundraiser on Saturday for the annual Army vs. Navy college football game.
The event, which will benefit the museum and is sponsored by the Local Supporters of Lt. Murphy Museum Committee, will begin at 3 p.m. at the Portly Villager on 261 West Main Street in Sayville.
It costs $20 per person, which will cover food and attendees' first drink.

The Lt. Michael Murphy Navy Seal Museum broke ground in 2017 and is expected be completed within in the next year to offer an ideal complement to historic maritime history that has been on the property since 1966. The museum will be a world-class, state-of-the-art facility and add to the area’s already rich array of historic and cultural attractions.
Murphy, a Navy SEAL from Patchogue, was killed in Afghanistan during Operation Red Wings in 2005 at the age of 29. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions in protecting his comrades.
