Man Robs Bohemia Bank

BREAKING

BOHEMIA, NY – A man robbed a Bohemia bank Monday morning, police said.

According to Suffolk Police, the man entered Capital One, located at 4110 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 9:43 a.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash.

The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot eastbound on Veterans Memorial Highway and then southbound on Corporate Drive.

The man was described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, around 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, with a medium build, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, sneakers, a black Nuggets hat and was carrying a backpack.

Police are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
