New Beauty Bar Celebrates Grand Opening On Long Island

A mom and daughter duo opened a new beauty bar in Suffolk with a mission to "create a warm, welcoming space where beauty meets connection."

SAYVILLE, NY — A new family-run beauty bar has opened on Long Island and is celebrating its grand opening on Friday.

MiCo Beauty Bar is a newly created labor of love for mom and daughter duo Colleen and Mia Chetti. The West Sayville salon opened its doors in June at 102 Main St. and is celebrating its grand opening on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests can expect raffles, refreshments and giveaways.

The Chetti's mission is to "create a warm, welcoming space where beauty meets connection and every guest feels at home." Colleen and Mia, both hairstylists, offer a "fresh, modern approach" to personalized hair and beauty services in a boutique setting.

They offer haircuts and styling for women, children and men; numerous color services; chemical processes including Brazilian Blowouts, Magic Sleeks, Japanese straightening and perms; and tanning, makeup and extensions.

The salon is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's closed on Sundays and Mondays.
